Pictured in the November Linking Ring. Alex Lourido's Silver Impression was performed on the David Blaine's TV Special. Due to the show he has been booked to perform at the Daytona Magic Convention in Florida, and also at Blackpool, England! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Alex Lourido was asked by Fuji TV, Japan's commercial TV station, to perform in a magic series called, "Magic Masters." The show was described as being similar in design to American Idol. It will contain a live audience, judges, and Japanese contestants who are competing for a substantial contract with a top Tokyo casino. The winning magician must demonstrate a broad sense of talents in many styles of magic, including, close up and stage. Master magicians from around the world will perform on stage and their performances will be the standard at which the contestants must aspire to, on live television. Alex Lourido was selected and hired to be the show's coin guy. In all, he will be performing five routines. He was specifically asked by the show's producers to perform his "Tornado Coins" routine, which can be found on his Retro Magic DVD set. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
